Dialog Find in the current model

You can search in the current model for model elements by their name, type, specifications properties or annotations; you can then save the search under a name.

The individual tabs can be changed within the dialog.

Find

The Find submenu contains the following commands:

Quick Search

Searches for name patterns and/or element type.
Find in Specifications

Searches for text or regular expressions in specification texts.
Find by Properties

Combined searches for name, stereotype, properties and stereotype properties.
Find in Annotations

Searches for text or regular expressions in annotations for dialog elements.

The commands open the respective tab in the Find in the current model dialog box.

Saving the Search

You can use the Save button to save the search.This creates a new command in the Start>Browse>Find submenu. This saved search can then be carried out with one simple click.

The saved searches are also available in the selection specification when creating documentation.

Each of these menu items has a context menu.

The Delete from Model command deletes the saved search from the menu. The search is then no longer available in the configuration editor or the selection specification when creating documentation.

The Edit command loads the search parameters in the Find in the current model dialog box; the search can be modified and saved again here.

The dialog box starter in the Start>Browse menu group opens the Manage dialog to customize the Find menu.
