Getting Started Tool Window

The Getting Started tool window indicates how to get started when working with Innovator.

Purpose

The Getting Started tool window is an introduction to working with Innovator.

The display depends on the particular Innovator products for which licenses are in place.

For typical tasks, the description gives the individual steps of the procedure for completing the sub-tasks as they occur.

For the task "Structuring a System with Classes", for example, these would be the individual steps for completing the following sub-tasks:

  • Creating a Class Diagram
  • Creating a Class
  • Creating a Class' Attribute
  • Creating an Operation of a Class with Parameters
  • Creating an Association Between Two Classes
  • Creating an Inheritance or Dependency Relationships Between Two Classes

Structure

The whole window is used for showing the help topic "Getting Started".

Note:

You can display the tool window as floating (Unanchored) so as not to cover the workspace.
