You can create internal projects which you can assign project-related licenses to. This is done to increase the clarity of the models offered and to enable the continuing use of projects created in older Innovator versions.
Purpose
The license pool is always managed on the central main license server.
You can use some of your licenses to equip internal project license servers with a project-specific set of licenses.
Creating an internal project in the server tree of the administration program allows you to operate a project license server with certain licenses in the network of the main license server. The project license server must be used on the specified host with the specified port in order to enable the assigned licenses to be made available.
Prerequisites
A license administrator login is required.
The main license server's computer must already be registered.
Call
Select a license server in the Standalone Servers tab in the administration program and select License>Create>New Project.

How to proceed

Enter the name of the project.

Specify the name and port number of the project license server host in the form <license server host name>.<port number> in the INOHOST field.
The main license server must be able to be accessed via the specified port so that the licenses can be used.

Confirm with OK.
The project with the information for the project license server is created and appears in the server tree.
