Reusing Filter Settings

You can save the settings for the filtering of elements when they are compared as a filter configuration with a defined name and reuse them at a later stage.

Saving Filter Configuration

Context

You can save your current settings for the display of element types, elements, property types and stereotypes in the comparison results for model elements as a filter configuration.

The current settings are saved specific to the user. If a model-wide configuration is selected, then you can select a name; otherwise, the selected user-defined configuration is overwritten.

To save a configuration under another name, select Manage. The saved configuration is then loaded.

Store the current user-defined filter settings using a name which should give an indication as to the respective constellation.

The current filter constellation is taken into account when the presets for the comparison are saved.

How to proceed

  1. Make the filter settings you want.

  2. Select Align Models>Filter>Save.

The current settings are saved specific to the user. If a model-wide configuration is selected, then you can select a name; otherwise, the selected user-defined configuration is overwritten.

The current filter settings can be reused in the list of filter configurations by clicking on the name given.
