Copying a Database Connection

Copy the connection data to a database to derive a new database connection from it.

Prerequisites

The Database Import Wizard is open.

Context

Copy the connection data of an existing database connection so that you do not have to waste time reentering all the data.

How to proceed

Select the database connection you want to copy from the left-hand side list.

The input field shows the selected database connection's data.
Click on to create a complete copy of the connection.

The connection copy has a unique name.
Modify the desired data in the fields.
Click on Check connection settings.

The changes are saved and tested.
