You can search for model elements by names, specifications, properties, annotations, label values or date and apply these in the Result Region. In the dialog, you can save a search under a specific name in order to reuse it. There are also predefined searches which you can customize to an extent.
The search for model elements with specific properties is primarily carried out in the Find dialog, which you can open using the Start>Browse>Find (Ctrl+F) command.
The Start>Browse>Find submenu has up to four sections:

You can search for model elements in the Find dialog by names, specifications, properties, annotations, label values or date. The search results are applied in the Result Region tool window. You can use the search options to control the search constraints and the layout in the result region.

User-Defined Searches
In the Find dialog, you can save a search under a specific name in order to reuse it as User-Defined Query.
Search for the inoref.xml File in the $INODIR Directory
You can use complex search patterns to search for elements. To do this, use the inoref.xml file in the $INODIR directory.
The Find submenu contains commands that open the following tabs:
Find Name
Search for model elements by their name component and/or element type.
Find Specification
Searches for model elements by their text or regular expressions in specification texts.
Find Property
Combined searches for model elements by their name, stereotype, properties and stereotype properties.
Find Annotation
Searches for model elements by their text or regular expressions in annotations for dialog elements.
Find Label
Searches for model elements by their label values.
Find Date
Searches for model elements by their date of creation or modification.
You can jump between tabs; any settings you may have made are not lost until the dialog is closed. The search does not combine settings in the various tabs.
