Dialog Sign in to Model
You must log-in as a user for each model due to Innovator's own user and authorization management system. Repositories can be used in single sign-on mode. Only users logged-in to the system can log-in as users to models on this repository.
Enterprise Edition
An available repository server is running.
Several users can simultaneously work on one model with the Enterprise edition. You must log-in as a user for each model due to Innovator's own user and authorization management system.
Users are assigned one or more roles with certain rights. New users, rights and roles are assigned model-specifically and can only be carried out by a user with administrator rights.Every user in Innovator automatically has read-only rights for all model information. Write rights are assigned at the user roles' level.
There are two ways to select the model you want to log-in to:
- The Start Page shows the recently used models; you can log-in to another model here too.
- The 'Innovator' Button>Login menu item also lists the recently used models in a submenu and the Login menu item.
The Login dialog appears when logging-in to a model if

You have not already logged-in and if the "single sign-on" option is not set for the repository

Or if you logged-in as model administrator.
This dialog only exists in the Enterprise edition.
- Click on the model you want on the start page and then on Login or click on Log-in to other model....
The model page is opened if you are already logged-in to the model, otherwise, the log-in dialog appears for you to select the user and role (without single sign-on only) and enter the password.
- Jump to the start page to open more models.
Professional Edition and Personal Edition
An available repository server is running.
The Professional and Personal editions are single user editions. This means that you do not require a password to log-in to the model and no dialog appears.
- Click on the model you want on the start page and then on Login.
The model is opened and you can see its tab at the bottom in the document area.
- Jump to the start page to open more models.
