Copying Another Active Model
Create a new model as a copy of another model.
Prerequisites
The New Model Wizard is open.
The model server which contains the model to be copied is running.
You require administrator rights for the source model server.
Context
You want to build on an existing model's modeling. You want to copy this model.
A managed model can only be created as a copy from a model version or an independent model of a single sign-on repository.
Restriction
The name of the new model and the version must apply to the model administrator and version rules of the executing user; otherwise the user cannot create the model.
Note
Copying does not produce an exact 1:1 copy of the source model. Change sets are not taken into account.
