Diagrams Tool Window View

Overview of the model's diagrams.

Purpose

The Diagrams tool window view shows all of the model's diagrams. It enables quick access to all diagrams.

Structure

The Diagrams tool window view shows diagrams in a tree or list view. The tree view shows the diagrams in the model's hierarchical tree structure. The list view groups the diagrams according to their type.

A Preview for the selected diagram can be expanded below this view.

Use

As well as opening and editing properties, new diagrams can also be created using the commands in the Start menu tab.

You can expand a preview for the selected diagram below the diagram structure. The "Preview not available" message means that no preview graphic was created for the diagram. The preview graphic is always created once a diagram is modified and closed.

Navigate to a selected diagram's position

In the diagram hierarchy with the context menu command Go to>Position in the Diagram Structure (Ctrl+Shift+D)
In the model hierarchy with the context menu command Go to>Location in Model Structure (Ctrl+M)
In the model element list with the context menu command Go to>Location in Model Element List (Ctrl+Shift+M)
