Target Selection Dialog

Purpose

Select one of several create templates for the target element in the target area of the Beamer tool window in this dialog.

Prerequisites

If multiple target element stereotypes have been configured for a source element stereotype in the configured mappings in the Beamer tool window and the selection cannot be restricted to just one corresponding create template by means of the owner relationships, the permitted create templates for the target element are offered in a dialog for selection.

Call

If multiple create templates are permitted for a target element, a red question mark initially appears above the mouse pointer when you drop an element into the right-hand tree of the Beamer tool window. When you release the mouse button, the Target Selection dialog appears.

Select a create template for the element derived from the source element in the target area of the Beamer tool window.

Structure

The stereotype of the source element is displayed in the dialog.

Underneath, the usable create templates for the target elements are displayed.

Chosse a create template for the element. Double-click selects and closes the dialog.
