Getting to Know the Basics of Creating and Assigning Profile Elements
This chapter gives you an overview of which view the various types of profile elements are created in and which prerequisites are necessary for this.
Profiles are subject to the user concept, i.e. access rights and locking. It does not matter where you are in the profile when you lock it, as the whole profile is always locked.
Please take the following points into consideration when creating and assigning profile elements:
- You need to have the Configureprivilege to be able to change the configuration.
- You need to have locked the profile to be able to create or assign profile elements.
- You need to be in the right view.
- You need to select a profile element which allows the menu command you require.
- You need to adhere to the necessary editing order.
