Setting-Up Access to a Web Service for Translation

The license server must enter the key for the web service's translation API for each license server before automatic translation can be enabled for the supported display languages.

Prerequisites

A license administrator login is required.

Context

Set up access to a web service for translation in the supported display languages.

You can get the key from your web service provider; depending on your web service, this may incur a fee.

How to proceed

Log-in to the main license server with License>Main License Server>Login as license administrator.

The license server context menu commands can now be executed.
Select a license server from version 14.3 or higher.
Select the Translation Key context menu command.

The dialog of the same name appears.
Select the web service from the Translation API list (currently only DeepL).
Enter your key for the web service in the Key field and confirm your entry with OK.

Access to the web service is established.

The client which the model editor is running on needs to have Internet access so that the web service can be used.
