Model versions are always arranged alphabetically, which means that name changes can be important.
Prerequisites
An active model must be selected in the Managed Models tab.
You require a version rule for the model version.
Context
The sorting of model versions in a hierarchy level always takes place alphabetically.
To influence the order, you must use an appropriate version name.
Note
Changing the model version name automatically causes an appropriate Innovator link to be created. This is marked as default and can be used for future Innovator links.
How to proceed

Select View>View>Edit Properties.
The properties are displayed in sections.

Enter the new version name in the Name field in the Version section.
Restriction
You can set name rules for a model version name of a managed model. The name must comply with the current name rule.

Click on Apply bottom right to adopt the changes.
The model version is positioned in the version tree in accordance with the new name.
