Automatic Shutdown of Inactive Model Versions
You can set a time criteria for inactive model servers for model versions so they are automatically closed after a certain amount of time.
Prerequisites
You require a version rule when editing model version properties.
Context
Inactive model servers can be automatically closed to e.g. release resources they are using.
You can set a time limit in hours for a model server's inactivity where users cannot use the model server.
The time frame must be at least 1 hour. 0 or empty deactivate this mechanism.
How to proceed
-
Open the Administration Program.
-
Select an active model version in the version tree.
-
Select View>View>Edit Properties.
The properties of the model version appear in the workspace.
-
Jump to the Inactivity section.
-
Enter a positive integer larger than 0 in the Shutdown model after (h) if you want to set the time frame for period of inactivity. Leave the field empty or enter 0 if you do not wish to make any settings.
Model servers of model versions which have not been used by the user within the given time frame are classified as inactive and are automatically closed.
