Switching Display Languages
Model content can be displayed with the terms in the model language or in another language. The setting applies for the entire model.
Prerequisites
The model administrator must have set at least one active display language so that you can select a language.
Context
The Language drop-down list contains the model language and the entries set by the model administrator under Display Languages in the Administrative Tasks backstage view.
If there is no translation for an element in the selected display language, then the term in the model language is used.
Note
Please note that model elements can only be renamed if the model language is set. Other functions are also constrained if a display language is selected.
How to proceed
-
Click in the status bar on the flag icon for the set language and on the display language you require in the list or select from the Language drop-down list in the Translation tool window.
Terms in the model content are shown in the set language. If there is no translation for an element in the selected display language, then the term in the model language is used.
