Display Language Tool Window

The Display Languages tool window shows what diagram elements are called in the modeling language and in other language created in the model.

Purpose

You can use other languages for diagram elements as well as the modeling language.

You can translate diagram content and display these translations to help when presenting diagrams to those who are not familiar with the modeling language.

The Display Languages tool window is used for translating the model language into a respective other display language. You require the Translating privilege for translating.

Open the tool window with Review>Language>Translate.

You can create new display languages as model administrator with Model>Administrative Tasks>Display Languages.

You can use Review>Language>Switch Language to jump to other languages in the Display Languages tool window.

Structure

The tool window consists of three filter buttons for display and a table with three columns for displaying unfiltered entries.

It may be questionable that the ID is up-to-date in the alternative display language if the ID was changed in the modeling language after the ID entry was changed in the alternative display language.
