Preview for the Model Documentation

Purpose

The preview window for the model documentation is always shown if you have generated a documentation in the Document Preview format.

You can start the documentation in Document Preview format direct in the Create & Send Documentation backstage view or in the documentation wizard.

Structure

The preview window is a document window and can be opened multiple times.

It consists of the display area for the model documentation and a toolbar at the bottom with the following commands.

Icon	Command	Brief description
	Search	Opens a field for the search term. Enter the search term and use the arrow icons to navigate to the hits in the text of the documentation.
	Page mode	Changes the display to page mode. The page mode displays one page at a time with the corresponding page number. Use the wheel on the mouse to change the pages in the model documentation.
	2-page mode	Changes the display to 2-page mode. The 2-page mode displays two pages at a time, next to each other, with the corresponding page number of the left-hand, odd-numbered page. Use the wheel on the mouse to change the left-hand, odd-numbered pages in the model documentation.
	Scroll mode	Changes the display to scroll mode (scrolling image). Scroll mode displays the pages continuously without page number. Use the wheel on the mouse to scroll through the pages of the model documentation.
	Zoom out ([Ctrl]+[-])	Decrease the zoom factor by an increment.
	Zoom in ([Ctrl]+[+])	Increase the zoom factor by an increment.

How to proceed

In the preview window, you can scroll through your documentation and track cross references.

You can search within the text and navigate between hits.

You can decide to display the pages individually, side by side or continuously.

You can scale the display within the window to customize it better to your viewing preferences.
