Calculated Source Elements Dialog

The elements that are actually mapped during mapping are determined using the selection elements in the Mapping editor.

Purpose

Specify the model elements you want to map to your database model in the left-hand area Selection elements of the Mapping editor.

However, these are not necessarily elements that are also actually mapped. Elements may not be taken into consideration e.g. due to their mapping type, or may contain subelements that are also added to the mapping so that the mapping is consistent in the target.

The Calculated Source Elements dialog contains elements that are actually mapped upon mapping.

These elements can also be added to the selection of source elements or result region.
