Save Model Template Dialog

Export selected model parts as base templates for creating new Innovator models or as add-on templates for extending existing models.

Prerequisites

You require model administrator rights.
The model elements to be added to the template need to be selected.
This command does not exist in the Personal edition.

Dialog

Enter the file name (excluding extension) you want in the Name field. You can select an existing file from the drop-down list to overwrite.

Decide whether you want to create a template for creating new models (Base Template) or for loading in running Innovator models (Add-On Template) in the Save As group.

Start the export with the Export button.

You also need to export the configuration from the configuration editor if you want to create a base template.
