Stored Presets for Comparison Elements Dialog

The Stored presets for comparison elements dialog manages the stored presets for left-hand and right-hand comparison models and elements.

Purpose

You can use the Stored presets for comparison elements dialog to store and load presets for left-hand and right-hand comparison models and elements for the Compare Model Elements tool window and to set these as automatic preset for the tool window.

Saving a Comparison Selection

Prerequisites

The Compare Model Elements tool window is open.

Context

Store the presets for left- and right-hand comparison models and elements for the Compare Model Elements tool window.

How to proceed

  1. Select Compare>Compare>Presets.

    The Stored presets for comparison elements dialog appears.

  2. Click on Add.

    The New preset dialog appears.

  3. Enter a name or use the time stamp as the name.
  4. Confirm the name with OK.

    The preset is stored and shown in the list.

Loading a Comparison Selection

Prerequisites

The Compare Model Elements tool window is open.

Context

Load the presets for left- and right-hand comparison models and elements.

How to proceed

  1. Select Compare>Compare>Presets.

    The Stored presets for comparison elements dialog appears.

  2. Select the preset.
  3. Click on Load.

    The preset is loaded and displayed in the Compare model elements tool window.

Setting a Comparison Selection to Load Automatically

Prerequisites

The Compare Model Elements tool window is open.

Context

You can set which presets for left- and right-hand comparison models and elements should load automatically on opening the Compare model elements tool window.

How to proceed

  1. Select Compare>Compare>Presets.

    The Stored presets for comparison elements dialog appears.

  2. In the Autostart column, activate the check box for the preset that should be loaded automatically on opening the Compare model elements tool window.
  3. Click on Close.

    The preset will be loaded automatically on opening the Compare model elements tool window.

  4. To delete a stored selection of comparison elements, select the preset and click on Delete.

    The preset is deleted.

Deleting a Comparison Selection

Prerequisites

The Compare Model Elements tool window is open.

Context

You can delete presets.

How to proceed

  1. Select Compare>Compare>Presets.

    The Stored presets for comparison elements dialog appears.

  2. Select the preset.
  3. Click on Delete.

    The preset is deleted.
