Set the visibility and maintenance mode of existing compartments in the Show compartment entries... dialog.
Context
Configuration requirements for displaying compartments only take affect when creating or adding nodes in diagrams. They set the initial value. They do not influence existing nodes.
It is possible to show or hide all permissible compartments of a selected node, apart from the node itself, according to the configuration made. You can set whether the node should be shown as expanded or collapsed.
All compartments of the node are listed in the Compartment column in the dialog. You can reverse the alphabetical sort order by clicking on the column heading.
Compartment visibility can be set to make the diagram easier to read and control what information is shown.
You can set the following Visibility for compartments:
Through maintaining compartments you can set whether model elements which are created outside of this diagram and can be maintained in this section are automatically shown as compartments. This generally concerns compartments which show contained elements which cannot be versioned. Compartments which results from other information such as e.g. the Realized Interfaces compartment, cannot be maintained and need to be added manually.
The automatic value does not mean that the compartment content is always complete. An attribute can e.g. always be removed from the Attribute compartment and reinserted using the selection button that appears. Maintenance is not affected.
