Removing an Element from a Sequence Flow

Remove an element from the sequence flow without interrupting it.

Context

A flow node can always be deleted. All inflowing and outflowing sequence flows are also deleted. You may not want this to happen, e.g. if a condition is already defined for a sequence flow and should, therefore, remain for this sequence flow.

How to proceed

  1. Select the inflowing or outflowing sequence flow you want to keep.
  2. Reassign the sequence flow from the side of the element to be removed to another element suitable element (e.g. of the same type). You can temporarily create an element for this purpose if necessary.
  3. Delete the element to be removed from the model.

The sequence flow which was reassigned is kept, the other inflowing and outflowing sequence flows are deleted.
