Reassigning a Connection

A connection can be reassigned to another element which can have this type of connection to the source element.

Context

If you want to change the flow or structure in the diagram, you can reassign a sequence flow, a hierarchical subordination or another connection from one element to another.

How to proceed

Select the connection which you want to connect.

The connection's handles are visible.
Click on the handle on the side of the connection you want to connect and keep the mouse button pressed.

The mouse pointer then becomes a precision selection pointer (cross).
Drag the handle to the element which you want to reconnect and let go of the mouse button.
