Context

Labels can be configured for almost all model element types. You can edit a label in the model in the Properties tool window.

You can only set label values for a model element corresponding to the configuration.

You can use the clipboard to

  • Adopt text in a label from the string type or
  • Adopt numbers in a label from the numeric type.

Labels are a configured property of a model element type and cannot be separately deleted from the model.

How to proceed

  1. Select the model element that has the label you want to change.
  2. Change the label's value you want to change in the Labels tab in the Properties tool window.
  3. Confirm the modification with [Enter].

Using color labels changes the color of the selected element accordingly.
