Wizard for New Model (Enterprise Edition)

The wizard for new models takes you through the processes of creating a new Innovator model step-by-step.

Purpose

The wizard takes you through the processes of creating a new model step-by-step. You can choose whether the model is created from a template, a version file or by copying another model (from a running repository).

Note:

The wizard is only available in the Enterprise edition.

Wizard Structure

The top section contains the back button for returning to the previous step. This section also shows which step you are currently in.

The middle section shows you the input and selection options; making a selection will jump you directly to the next step if applicable.

The bottom section contains the [Next] (if the selection doesn't automatically jump to the next step) and [Abort] buttons.

How to proceed

There are many ways to create a new element:

Create a new model from a stored model template.
Create a new model as a copy of an existing model.
Create a new model from a version file that can be found in the file system.
