Export as Model Template Dialog

Create a template to create new Innovator models or an add-on template.

Prerequisites

An Innovator model is open.

This command does not exist in the Personal edition.

You require administrator rights.

The model elements to be added to the template need to be selected.

Dialog

Enter the file name or extension you want in the Name field. You can select an existing file from the drop-down list to overwrite.

Decide whether you want to create a template for creating new models (Base Template) or for loading in running Innovator models (Add-On Template) in the Save ls group.

Start the export with OK.

You also need to export the configuration from the configuration editor if you want to create a base template.
