This dialog can be used to connect an element which only exists in the left model with an element that only exists in the right model so that they are merged into one node in the Compare Models tool window's tree.
Use the Compare Models tool window to compare two models, the result is shown in the left-hand tree. Two elements from both models which are identified as matching are shown as one node. Two elements are recognized as being matching if they are from the same element type, are in the same branch and have the same UUID or name. Elements not identified as having a matching element in the other model get a separate node in the tree. An icon shows whether the element only exists in the left or right model. You can explicitly set matches for these types of elements. You can use the dialog to set the matching element for the left model from the right model.
A branch in the Compare Models tool window contains at least one element that only exists in the left model and at least one element that only exists in the right model. These elements need to be from the same element type.
The dialog appears.
An icon appears in the tree for both elements to let you know they will be used in the next comparison.
You can carry out the comparison or identify further element pairs as matches.
