The DB Manager tool window uses the Select database connection dialog to identify which tables in a database which the elements to be imported can be selected from.
A drop-down list shows any pre-allocations which have already been configured.
Selecting one of the pre-allocations fills the other fields in the dialog accordingly. The drop-down list itself does not show the name of the pre-allocation selected. Instead, it shows the Select pre-allocation default text.
The dialog remembers the last active entry and shows this when reopened; this may be a manually customized existing entry.
