Overview of Menu Commands
Structure and function of menu commands in the model editor's ribbon.
Note
Please note that dynamic menu commands derived from the model configuration are not listed. This affect e.g. the New Diagram and New Element submenus.

The backstage view shows recent logins and list of documents recently-edited in the current model.
The backstage view contains commands for managing change sets. Change logging can be activated in the Administrative Tasks backstage view.
The backstage view displays available model servers for models in the network or available templates for model files. You can create a model in the network using the model wizard or create a model file by selecting a template.
The backstage view shows the active model servers, available models and information about the models. You can select a model and log in from here or jump to the model.
In this backstage view you can specify the model language and the display languages, and you can create and import translation files.
If you have opened a model file, this command saves the current model file.
If you have opened a model file, this command opens the standard Save File dialog where you can select the directory and name for the copy of the current model file.
The backstage view provides you with information about the model and contains commands for quality control and data exchange (import and export of model fragments).
The backstage contains commands for version management of the model.
The backstage view contains commands for previewing and printing documents.
The backstage view contains commands for publishing model contents, meaning non-Innovator users can also access the models.
This command opens the Role Selection dialog.
This command logs off the user and closes the active model. The Innovator model editor is not closed.

This command closes all model editors.
The backstage view contains commands for administration and configuration of models that can only be accessed by a model administrator or a user with special privileges.
This command opens the Options dialog, where you can make workplace-specific settings for various areas of the interface.
The backstage view contains helpful links, information about the program and the event viewer.

Group Clipboard
Insert the clipboard's elements as copies into the model.
The buffered elements are pasted below the selected element.
Copies of all elements that are nested within the copied model parts are pasted, too.

Group Translation

Group Import
Import a model fragment from a file and add it to the current model.

Group Activity-Based Costing
Opens a window in which all relevant activity-based costing key indicators of the selected element will be displayed and can be edited.

Evaluates the key indicators set for the activity-based costing and exports the result as an Excel report.
Group Beamer
Activate the tool window for role-based mapping themes for the focused derivation of model elements.
Group Process Manual
A process manual is generated for each selected BPMN process and for each BPMN process realizing a selected concept. The process manual is attached to its BPMN process. You must use Word 2010 or higher.
Loads the application configuration from file '{0}' and deploys it as model-wide application configuration. The changes are effective after a restart of the application.

Open a dialog for selecting a query for dynamical determination of the end elements, including the choice of removing static end elements.
Special view for elements that are source, target or both relative to the selection.
Show only nodes and edges that are on a direct path between the start and an end element. A direct path contains each node of the path only once.
Starting from the start node, all nodes are arranged in the graph direction according to the path length. The logical edge direction is ignored. A node with a short path length from the start node is close to the start node.
In addition to the set path length, all edges between the displayed nodes are displayed.
Group Shortest Path
Set the selected node as start node for the shortest path.
Then select a node to show the shortest path to this node.
Turn off the shortest path.
Define here whether the direction of edges should be considered when finding the shortest path.
Group Configuration
Open the tool window 'Impact Analysis Content'.
Open the tool window 'Impact Analysis Display'.
Group Refresh
Refresh graph on every change that changes the content.
By deactivating this option you can e.g. run numerous configuration steps without waiting in between for the re-calculation of the graph.
Rebuild the graph.
This command is applicable when the option 'Automatically' is deactivated, and the content of the graph is outdated due to user actions.
