The showing of the Diagram Content navigation and selection area for all diagrams enables the selection of diagram elements using the keyboard.
Purpose
Innovator has extensive keyboard usage within diagrams to make usage even simpler for employees with restricted motor skills.
In the Diagram Content area, you can navigate to the diagram elements by double-clicking on them and select them individually or as a whole.
Call
To enable the selection of diagram elements using the keyboard, the Diagram Content navigation and selection area must be shown in the View tab.
The Diagram Content link always appears to the left in the diagram.
Structure
The Diagram Content area contains the Nodes and Edges tabs with all elements which can be selected.
For nodes, the element name is displayed. The name is shown in bold for nodes with sublevels.
For edges, the relationship name and the element names of the involved nodes are displayed.
Like the commands for selecting, creating, connecting, moving and changing diagram contents, the tabs can be called using keyboard commands.
Only nodes are listed in dynamic impact analysis diagrams. Nodes can be grouped and filtered by name.
