Templates
Use templates to adopt print options from one object to another. Templates are stored as XML files in the Templates folder in the directory stored by the INOHOME environment variable. Available templates are listed in this dialog.
This tab is hidden if the object you want to print is not a diagram; this is because a template will always be accessed for this (if one is available). Templates for objects other than diagrams are stored directly in the $INOHOME directory.
The following possibilities are available:
- Load
The selected template is read and loaded for the current object. This function is only available for the existing template file. Settings are first applied upon closure of the dialog with OK. Print options remain unchanged if the dialog is closed with the Cancel button.
- Save
Saves the print options for the current object in the selected template.
- Save As...
Saves the print options for the current object in a new template. A dialog then asks for the name of the new template. If there is already a template with the same name, the existing one is overwritten.
- Delete
The selected template is deleted.
Header and Footer Variables
Use variables in headers and footers to dynamically design their contents. Variables are integrated into the text using placeholders and analyzed when printing is started.
An exception to this is date variables. These are immediately translated when inserted into the text.
