Modify Service Properties Dialog

Purpose

Display name, command, start type, display name and description of an Innovator service.

Start type, display name and description can be modified.

Prerequisites

You must start the administration program as Windows administrator to be able to modify service properties.

Call

Select a service in the administration program and click on Modify....

Structure

• Service name

  Service name in Windows service management, cannot be modified

• Command

  Service command with options, cannot be modified

• Startup type

  Service's Windows start type

• Display name

  Name/display name in the Windows service management

• Description

  Description of service

• Login as

  • Local System Account
  • Managed Service Account

• Error forError status

  Display errors when running service, cannot be modified

• OK and Abort standard buttons
