Defining Model Elements

Model elements are defined by their properties, primarily by their properties and relationships.

Model elements are defined by their properties. These include namespaces and naming conventions, specifications via properties and texts, necessary and permissible relationships and their notation, as well as graphic display, including the respective icons. You need to have an understanding of the notation elements' semantic to be able to create and interpret models.

Note

The purpose of model configuration is to define permissible model elements and their relationships. Configuration occurs within the framework of the notation's semantic and syntax.

The modeler encounters these definitions as available model elements with a specific meaning, which can be displayed in a certain form and created and designed in a certain way and be given a relationship to another element.
