Ignoring Imported Labels and Text Definitions
You can ignore the imported labels and text definitions of a stereotype. This makes sense if, for example, you do not want to use these in your extension profiles.
Prerequisites
The following prerequisites need to be fulfilled before a stereotype's imported label or imported text definition can be ignored:
- The importing profile is locked
- In this profile, the imported label or text definition that you want to ignore is selected
Context
Labels and text definitions can be flagged as "ignored" in an importing profile. The labels and text definitions are then not offered.
You can call the Edit>Ignore menu command in the Stereotypes view.
How to proceed
-
Lock the profile which the label or text definition should be ignored for.
-
In the profile tree, select the stereotype with the label or text definition you want to ignore.
-
In the list of profile elements, select the imported label or imported text definition that you want to ignore.
The
Edit>Ignore command becomes active.
-
Select the Edit>Ignore menu command.
The label or text definition's icon is replaced by the
Ignore icon.
Labels or text definitions act as if they had not been defined.
