Renaming and Deleting Repositories
Repositories can be renamed or deleted at the operating system level if required. A deleted repository cannot be recovered in Innovator.
You can rename and delete repositories at an operating system level as the name of the repository is identical to its directory name. First close the repository's service.
Please bear this stringent naming convention in mind when renaming: [A-Za-z][A-Za-z0-9_]*
Attention
The repository directory also contains all Innovator backup copies.
Deleting a repository directory deletes data from all models in that repository.
A deleted repository cannot be recovered in Innovator.
Note
Renaming a repository at the operating system level causes invalid services if this was set up for the repository.
Renaming might also have consequences for logins and references.
