You can execute license and model servers, buses and agents as services in Windows.
Under Windows, license and model servers, buses and agents can be executed as services.
Services are advantageous because
- They can be run even if no user is logged-in
- They are not automatically terminated when the user logs-out
Services can also be entered with managed service accounts. A managed service account enables access rights to be better assigned for individual programs, e.g. for network release and other resources. Managed service accounts are available with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 and higher.
With its integrated service management, Innovator provides important service management functions for the Innovator services for Windows (only). You can use other functions in the Windows system control using the Services dialog.
