You need to enter login data when adopting user data from an LDAP server.

Prerequisites
You must be able to access the LDAP server via the network. You need to be able to log-in to the server.
Context
Use the Synchronize User Configuration with LDAP Servers dialog to adopt groups or users from your company's central user management via LDAP.
Enter login details for the LDAP server.
The login details are an essential part for the connection settings; LDAP branch and filter details also belong to this.
How to proceed

In the Server field, enter the LDAP server's address using <name>.<company> format or as an IP address. If required, add a special port.

If you want to log-in as another user to carry out synchronization, then deactivate the Use Windows Authentication for Login check box.
The User Name and Password fields appear..

Enter the necessary login information in the fields.
You have entered the login information.
You can load a group or user configuration to check it is correct. To do this, click on Load.
