Creating Cubes
You can create a cube in a cube diagram using the context menu. You can create the cube dimensions using the carousel for the cube. If you want to connect the cube with a fact set, drag the fact set from other tool windows and drop it in the cube. Use the carousel to use or create hierarchies for a cube dimension.

Connecting a Cube with a Fact Set
Context
A cube is a specialization of a view. The connection to a fact set is created using a From clause. The special feature of the creation of a From clause in a cube is that only local attributes of the attribute set are adopted. An appropriate configuration ensures that the right performance indicator stereotypes are used for cube performance indicators.
How to proceed
-
Select the fact set (entity or view) in another tool window and use drag-and-drop to move it to the cube.
In the cube, appropriate performance indicators are created for all performance indicators of the fact set.
