There are various possible layouts for elements in a dynamic concept diagram.
Context
A certain layout can be used as a display option for the dynamic concept diagram. No layout is active by default.
Note
Layers need to be defined in the display options for layout as Layer. Multiple concepts can be assigned to each layer (e.g. their stereotypes). Assignment must be exclusive.
You can use a certain layout for the best presentation of a viewpoint.

TreeArrange diagram content in a tree. This display is suited to hierarchical structures.

StarArrange diagram content as an undirected graph. Elements with lots of relationships below each other are moved closer together.

LayerArrange diagram content in horizontal layers. This representation is well suited to displaying interactions between different abstract layers of the model.
How to proceed

To set the layout of a dynamic viewpoint, select Design>Arrange>Standard Layout><Layout>.
Diagram elements are arranged accordingly.
