Modifying Element Headings

Change the element heading of a model element enumeration chapter.

Context

Design a heading's output for a model element.

How to proceed

  1. Select the chapter you want in the Documentation Structures view in the configuration editor.

  2. Select Edit>Properties.

The dialog of the same name appears.

  3. Jump to the Element Header tab to change the element header, which is primarily made up of placeholders.

The Current Heading row shows the current heading. The list below shows the possible placeholders.

  4. Select the variable you want to insert from the list.

  5. Click on Append to append the variable name to the end of the heading or Insert to insert the variable name at the insertion point in the heading.

    The heading is modified accordingly.

    Note

You can also access information of superordinate chapters. To do this, insert "up." between "$(" and the variable name for each desired level, e.g. $(up.up.name).

  6. Jump to the Element Heading (Localized) tab to change element heading to suit the language. Select the language and change the order of placeholders.

  7. Click on Apply.

    Your changes are applied.
