Editing a Documentation Command's Options

Modify a documentation command's properties in the Options tab.

Context

You can modify a documentation command's following properties in the Options tab:

  • Output Type: Output format.

  • Graphics Format: Format used when creating diagram graphics.

  • Name of Information Files: Name of the information and output files. If there is no entry, the documentation is output with the name "Docu<Windows_process_number>". You can use variables in the file name, e.g. $(model)_$(selection)_$(date)_$(time)_($(command)).

  • Directory for Output Files: Directory which the output files are created in. If there is no entry, the documentation is created in the user's temporary directory. You can use variables in the directory name of the output files.

  • Search to Determine Selection: Search to determine the selection.

  • XSL Style Sheet: Style sheet which is evaluated in connection with XML generation.

  • Color Label: General color label for diagrams.

  • MS Word Template File: Template file for generation in MS Word format.

How to proceed

  1. Jump to the Documentation view in the configuration editor.

  2. Select the documentation command you want to edit.

  3. Select Edit>Properties.

    The dialog of the same name appears.

  4. Jump to the Options tab.

  5. Change the desired options.

  6. Confirm your changes with Apply.

    The documentation command is changed.
