If you want to change the flow or structure in the diagram, you can reassign a sequence flow, a hierarchical subordination or another connection from one element to another.
The reassignment of an edge automatically positions an attached edge label.
How to proceed

Select the connection that you want to reassign.
The connection's handles are visible.

Click on the handle on the side of the connection you want to connect and keep the mouse button pressed.
The mouse pointer then becomes a precision selection pointer
. -
Drag the handle from the element which you want to connect and let go of the mouse button.
The connection is reassigned and an attached edge label is automatically positioned.
