Showing Element Info

Prerequisites

You are logged in to a model.

Context

Show information about an element in the Info tool window.

Unlike the Properties tool window, the Info tool window also shows properties which are not set to Visible in the configuration. You can also find information about the element's history and special information, such as number of specification texts.

The Info tool window only provides information.

How to proceed

Select an element somewhere, e.g. in the Model Structure tool window view.

The selected element's name is shown in the status bar.
Select the Info command in the Help menu.

The Info tool window is shown. The active link in the tool window shows the name of the element. The respective tab shows information about the element in the tree structure.

Note:
The information in the tool window is not updated. To do this, call the command again.
