Exporting Sub Areas

You can selectively export a sub area of a diagram or text.

The sub area export is used for diagrams and text-based elements (specification texts, modification texts).

Use the sub area export to explicitly export a part of the contents rather than all of it.

The following output methods are available for this:

Selection is canceled for diagrams as soon as the mouse pointer leaves the diagram area or by clicking on the [Esc] button

A diagram section is always printed out onto one page; the selected area is scaled before printing, if necessary. The page settings for portrait/landscape are ignored and specified according to the selection's dimensions.
