Element - Diagram Node

Definition

Diagrams are shown as diagram nodes in the whiteboard diagram.

The node is used to set the position of the diagram within the whiteboard diagram.

Notation

The node is shown as a frame.

The assigned diagram is shown within the frame.

Owner Hierarchy/Prerequisites

• Diagrams can be created or added as diagram nodes within the whiteboard diagram.
• The permissible diagram types are set in the configuration.
• Whiteboard diagrams are not permissible as diagram nodes.
• Each diagram can only be shown once as a diagram node in a whiteboard diagram.
• The diagram contained cannot be modified within the whiteboard diagram.

Use

Certain elements of the diagrams shown can be linked with the diagram edges.

You can open the diagram by double-clicking on it. You can only make changes to the diagram shown in its own window.Any changes made are adapted and shown in the whiteboard diagram accordingly.
