Creating an Actor
An actor portrays a role which interacts with the system from the outside.
Context
An actor specifies a role which interacts with the system from the outside. An actor interacts with a use case in a use case diagram by triggering its execution or by actively or passively participating in its execution.
How to proceed
- Position the mouse pointer outside of the application systems on a free point in the diagram.

Click the right mouse button and click on the
actor icon in the context menu's mini toolbar.The actor is created and is given a default name.You can immediately change this.
