Adding an Existing Class

Classes that exist in the model can be added to a class diagram using drag-and-drop.

How to proceed

Select the class in another tool window and drag-and-drop it where you want it in the diagram.

A class node that shows the existing class is created in the diagram.

If adding is not permitted, e.g. because the class already occurs in the diagram, this is indicate by the mouse pointer .
