Process data is edited using the business process and shows BPMN using data elements; these data elements are data objects, data inputs, data outputs and data store references.
A data object represents an artifact which modifies the business process. Data objects can be used to portray electronic objects such as documents or datasets; they can also be used to depict physical objects such as books.
Data objects can be linked with tasks and call activities, subprocesses and events using data associations.
Data elements can be linked with business objects; structure definitions, classes or entities can be used to describe them.
Data store references can be linked with data stores.
