Changing a Call Activity into a Subprocess

You can convert a call activity and its called subprocess into an embedded subprocess.

Prerequisites

The subprocess to be changed cannot be called by another call activity.

Context

Changing a call activity and its respective subprocess into an embedded subprocess deletes the previous subprocess from the model.

How to proceed

Select the call activity.
Select Refactor>Convert to Subprocess in the context menu.

The selected call activity is changed into a subprocess, the called subprocess is integrated into the subprocess and deleted as an independent element from the model.
