Modifying Table Properties

You can modify the labeling, orientation and height of the first row of a documentation table; it is also possible to omit the enumeration column.

Context

You can modify the following properties for a documentation table:

Table Caption: Here you can specify a caption to be shown beneath the table. You can use placeholders which are provided by the appropriate model element enumeration chapter. The $(number) variable contains a continuous counter for all tables
Rotate Table: If this option is set, the table rows are shown as columns.
Omit Enumeration Column: The first column of the table is omitted. You can use this option in combination with rotate table to e.g. show the modification history information as a table below the Element (Element Class) chapter.
Height of the First Row: Use this option to set the height of the first row (in mm) in a table with rotated column caption.

How to proceed

Open the configuration editor in the Documentation Structures view.
Select the desired table.
Select the Table Properties entry in the Chapter drop-down list.

The entry with the table properties is shown in the Assigned list.
Select Edit>Properties.

The dialog of the same name appears.
Jump to the Properties tab.
Modify the desired properties.
Confirm your changes with Apply.

The table column properties are modified according to the changes you made.
